His Message His Call Radio joins the others in the Southern Gospel Music community in grieving the untimely passing of Jason Clark, Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber Kistler, Nathan Kistler, Melodi Hodges, Larry Haynie and Melissa Haynie in a recent plane crash. The Nelons were immensely talented, and they will be missed for sure. I have my own memories of Jason, Kelly and Amber and I will be sharing them in a tribute here on His Message His Call Radio at a future time.
In the meantime, Greg Goodman, of Daywind (the Nelons record company) Radio has put together a tremendous tribute and made it available to other stations. We are going to run this incredible tribute that features songs by the Nelons and clips from former interviews from the group members. The program is titled “Peace At Last … Remembering the Nelons” and will air nightly at 7:00 PM eastern time Tuesday, July 30th through Sunday, August 4th.
We also continue to pray for Autumn Nelon Streetman and her husband Jamie Streetman, who were not passengers on the plane and are left to sort things out. We also pray for Kelly’s brother Todd Nelon, his wife, Rhonda and their family. Finally, our prayers extend to the Kistler Family, the Hodges Family and the Haynie Family.
The following links are available for you to donate to Autumn to help her as she begins to deal with the aftermath of this tragedy. No doubt that Autumn’s life was dramatically changed in an instant, and she has many difficult, and major events and decisions ahead of her. Here are those links:
